Water Meter and Leak Detection

We are very pleased to report that our Tshwane Water meter has finally been replaced this morning (18 March 2021). We are finally able to record actual readings.

Since December 2019, we have not been able to take readings and Tshwane have been estimating our useage for approx 15 months. We will be requesting an investigation into our past “estimated” readings now that the meter is working again.

Additionally, we have also scheduled a leak detection to be performed 13 April by FD Plumbers. Please expect the main water supply to be turned off between 08h30 and 17h00 while the leak detection is being done.

Vista Body Corporate AGM

Due to COVID-19 regulations the two outstanding Annual General Meetings of the Body Corporate in respect of the 2018/2019 financial year (1 December 2018 to 30 November 2019) and 2019/2020 (1 December 2019 to 30 November 2020) cannot take place soon in ideal circumstances and in total safety.

However, the STSM Act (Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act) allows, (should the members agree to do it on this basis) that votes and resolutions can be taken in writing (also known as “round robin” resolutions). A majority “yes vote” (51%) is necessary to approve the items on the AGM agendas.
